Theoretical consideration about a resilience concept

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to formulate theoretical consideration about a resilience concept. Firstly, a definition and process of development was examined in order to conceptualize resilience. Secondly, a viewpoint and organizing factor of a resilience concept was also examined. Finally, A controversial dilemma was checked during conceptualizing resilience. The results are as follows. Firstly, a resilience has become a major concept through three research development processes. A resilience concept can be changed and it is depending on an age. Secondly, three major viewpoints of resilience have been found from a development process of resilience conceptualization. The study also shows that a domain of resilience was multidimensional Thirdly, organizing factors of a resilience concept have a multidimensional feature. Finally, resilience has four major points of dispute. A conceptualization of resilience can be understood more detailed based on this study. This study is also useful to prepare a theoretical foundation and basis for application of resilience.
